Team Philosophy

Our approach is simple. Be kind, work hard, step outside of your comfort zone, and laugh. We help our riders achieve their individual goals while keeping it fun.

Everyone is welcome. Everyone rides.

No prior experience needed. We help new athletes learn the fundamentals and we guide our seasoned riders on a path to reach their full potential. Our athletes range in ability from first-year riders to expert-level racers. Our team is comprised of public, private, and homeschool student athletes from Fannin, Union, and other surrounding areas. Our co-ed team ranges in age from 6th-12th grade. Racing is not required (but it is encouraged). We don’t have a bench. Everyone rides. Everyone contributes to the team. Everyone is welcome.

Practice Information

Registration opens April 1st. The season runs from July 1st-October 31st.

During the month of July to early November, we practice on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:15-7:15pm. Occasionally we swap out a weekday practice for a Saturday.

The majority of our practices will be at the new Fightingtown Creek trail system and the Shady Falls section of the Aska Trails. Sometimes we venture over to Talking Rock, JackRabbit, Brush Creek, and the beautiful Forest Service roads in our area.

Be a coach!

We encourage parents to become coaches. We need people of all skill levels to help mentor, encourage, and share their time and talents. From seasoned cyclists to parents just dipping their toes into the mountain biking world, we have a role for you! We maintain a 1:6 or 2:8 coach to student athlete ratio. All coaches must undergo a background check and take some basic online training to ensure student safety.

Get in touch. Get involved!

“There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask
“What if I fall?”
Oh but my friend,
What if you fly?

— Erin Hanson
